Chip Conley’s book is akin to a reassuring chat with a wise friend who has discovered the beauty of midlife. It explains not only how women have internalized the patriarchy but also how they unwittingly reinforce it. In this well-researched book, Elise shares her own story and the spiritual wisdom of other traditions. She also tells us how we can break free and come into alignment with our true authentic selves. “Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle” by Emily & Amelia Nagoski
This is all about the science of stress and how to prevent and overcome overwhelm and exhaustion. The authors provide a science-backed roadmap for completing the stress cycle and achieving emotional wellbeing.
